I recently had the opportunity to road trip around England and Scotland with my English friend James and his wonderful, and convenient, driving and tour-guiding. We managed to drive around the United Kingdom; visiting London, Canterbury, Winchester, Oxford, Stonehenge, The Cotswolds, Birmingham, The Lake District, Hadrian’s wall, Edinburgh, Glencoe, the Isle of Skye, John o’ Groats, Inverness, Loch Ness, Lindisfarne, York, Sutton Hoo, Canewdon, and Southend on Sea, as well as many, many stops along the way. This was a wonderful journey with great history, architecture, landscapes, and natural beauty to photograph along the way.

I recently was invited on a cruise of the Rhine River with my parents, aunt, and grandparents. The trip began in Lucerne, Switzerland before boarding a riverboat in Basel, Switzerland and sailing up the Rhine River. The trip stopped in a number of locations along and near the Rhine including Breisach, Germany; the Black Forest; Colmar, France; Strasbourg, France; Heidelberg, Germany; Rudesheim, Germany; Koblenz, Germany; Marksburg Castle, Germany; Cologne, Germany; Bruhl, Germany; Kinderdijk, Netherlands; and Amsterdam, Netherlands. The trip included many castles, palaces, cathedrals, and windmills; some of which are included in this gallery.
